Veritas Health, the parent company of Spine-health.com and Arthritis-health.com, has announced its ranking on the Inc. 500|5000 2013 list of fastest growing companies in America.
Veritas Health ranked #3743 on the list, placing it among elite companies in America. The company grew by 78% between 2009 and 2012, and it continues to grow its business on Spine-health.com and Arthritis-health.com, with other health websites in the pipeline.
Veritas Health is in good company, sharing a pedigree with Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Clif Bar, Patagonia, Oracle, and dozens of other notable alumni.
In the late 90s, co-founder, Stephanie Burke, partnered with Dr. Peter Ullrich to combine their medical and business backgrounds to launch Spine-health.com—a website designed to give patients straight-forward, truthful, and helpful information about their spine conditions. From there the company took off because of its unique ability to meet the demands of savvy patients researching their back pain on the web.
In addition to peer-reviewed content, Veritas Health sites have a very active and supportive forum community.
